Pedro Renner – Senior Partner and Founder
Mr. Renner graduated as an Industrial Engineer from Buenos Aires National University, before gaining a Master in Senior Management and a post-graduate degree in Turnaround and Company Crisis Management. Mr. Renner began his career as a professional and executive in the areas of finance, investments, business development and general management, and later on held several Directorships in multinational companies such as Ford Motor Company, Bunge & Born, Mack Trucks Inc., IMPSA and Carbometal, both in Latin America and the USA.
As an entrepreneur in the late 80’s, Mr. Renner founded Financonsult SA, a financial services company specialized in mid-market financing and asset management, and also successfully co-developed Gazebo, a retail chain sold to a French buyer (Groupe Le Duff) in the late 90’s.
Together with two partners, Mr. Renner founded B.A.M&A in 1996.
Mr. Renner holds both Argentinean and EU citizenship, and is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
Tommaso Leonetti - Partner
Mr. Leonetti graduated as a Civil Engineer from the University of Sao Paulo, before gaining an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwest University, Chicago.
Mr. Leonetti started his career as an Engineer, but since 1993 he has been working in management consulting and banking roles with companies such as Credit Lyonnais, Value Partners, Bain & Company and CV Business Development, both in Brazil and in Europe. Mr. Leonetti joined B.A.M&A in 2005 and speaks fluent Portuguese, French, English, Spanish and Italian.
Fábio Franchini – Partner
Mr. Franchini has a degree in Business Administration from the Faculdade Metropolitanas Unidas and an Extension in Transport Management from the Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia, both in Sao Paulo. Mr. Franchini started his career as a General Manager with Transfer Transportadora Ferroviária de Veículos Ltda followed by County Manager at Automovel On-line, before becoming a Partner and Lead Consultant with CV Business Development in 2001. Mr. Franchini joined B.A.M&A in 2005 and speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Norbert Dreyer - Partner
Mr. Dreyer is a graduate in Business Administration from Muenster University (Germany) with a Master´s degree in International Finance from Reading University (England).
From 1993-2000 Mr. Dreyer worked in Corporate Finance / M&A for German bank WestLB in Berlin, London and New York and focused on crossborder transactions in a wide number of industries. From 2001-2005 he was Investment Manager for German private equity fund CMP Capital Management Partners in Berlin specializing in midmarket investments in restructuring / special situations.
Norbert joined B.A.M&A in September 2005.
Mario Bacman
Graduate in Economics by the Cordoba University, with a Master´s degree in Business and Finance from Boston University.
Until 2003, Mario was Director of the Corporate Finance / M&A Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Argentina where he developed a sound expertise in all aspects of corporate finance services. Mario led and worked for more than 10 years in several M&A transactions, valuations, company turnarounds, strategic consulting, and privatizations, in almost all sectors in Argentina and in Latin America.
Mario had also an exposure in the Public Sector in the early 90s, when he carried different responsibilities at the Ministry of Economy.
