Translink is often informed of potential sale situations well before these are public or industry knowledge. This is the direct result of our offices being active in many countries, of the large number of searches undertaken, of the personal contacts of partners, and of relationships with local institutions and industry sources.
When a valuable lead has been received, Translink confidentially approaches potential acquirers, which include industrial as well as financial groups.
If one of these potential acquirers expresses an interest in the proposed target and retains Translink to investigate the specific situation further, Translink then proceeds to collect information, prepare a Translink Report, arrange meetings and assist the client in all aspects of the transaction.
