Mr. Villamil is a graduate in Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) with an MBA in International Business from Schiller University (Paris, France).

Juan has over 10 years of experience in the international finance field with a focus on Emerging Markets, and Latin America in particular. From 2004 until the end of 2008 he worked at SFG in Miami first as Emerging Markets Strategist for the firm’s proprietary portfolios and then as Senior Investment Officer for Latin America heading the investment committees in five different countries in the region and leading all asset allocation activities. Previously, Juan was the Director Mutual Funds at Fiduciaria Popular in Bogota, Colombia and an Institutional Credit Analyst for the Emerging Markets group at HSBC in Paris, France.

Juan is fluent in Spanish, English and French. He has dual Colombian and Argentinean nationality and joined B.A.M&A in January 2 009.
