Edward Ackerman
 Edward
Ackerman holds a MSc degree in Bio-Engineering from the Universities of Ghent
and Montpellier and a Master’s degree in Marketing Management (EHSAL,
Brussels). For many years, he worked internationally in sales, marketing, and
management positions in the food, construction, and chemistry sectors for large
Belgian and German companies. After that, he was managing partner of a
consulting firm operating from Belgium and The Netherlands, with a sector focus
in chemistry, food, laboratory and biotechnology, pharmaceutics, healthcare,
environmental technology and engineering. Since the start of 2007 Edward has
added his industry and management experience to the expertise of VD&P.
Within VD&P, he is responsible for the international network.
Eric Verbaere
 Eric
Verbaere is a licentiate in economic sciences (UG). For many years, he worked
at the Business Financing department of the UG and at the Vlerick School of
Management, Ghent. Through the National Investment Company and Leasinvest, he
moved to Investco at the end of the 1980s, the investment company of the then
Almanij-Kredietbankgroep. In 1993, he started an independent advice practice
and then set up VD&P in 1995 with Guy De Clercq. He is a director of
various national and foreign companies.
Guy De Clercq
 Guy
De Clercq is a licentiate in law and a licentiate in economic sciences (UG).
For many years, he worked for family companies before he moved to Investco, the
investment company of the then Almanij-Kredietbankgroep. Within Investco, he
was specialised in Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions. In 1995, he
set up VD&P with his former colleague, Eric Verbaere. He is a director of
various national and foreign companies.
Danny Vannevel
 Danny
Vannevel is a licentiate in economic sciences (UG) and completed the Special
Licentiate Course in Financial Sciences at the Vlerick School of Management,
Ghent. In February 2000, he joined VD&P, and in 2002 became a partner. His
previous professional experience includes working for the GIMV (investment
company, founded by the Flemish Government) and the Corporate Finance
department of Deloitte. He is a director of various companies.
Inge Demuynck
 From
1990 to 2002, Inge was connected to the law faculty of the University of Ghent,
first as an assistant and then, after obtaining her doctorate in 2000, as a
doctoral assistant, with teaching assignments in company and consumer law. From
1999 onwards, she combined her academic assignments, which were by now
part-time, with a legal advice position within VD&P. In 2002, she entered
full-time service with VD&P and immediately became a partner.
